課程概述 |
Organizational Behavior (OB) is an interdisciplinary subject. The purpose for our learning OB is to provide a systematic knowledge about human behaviors in organizations. Its content includes the followings: perceptions, attitudes, personality, emotions, motivation, group dynamics, communication, conflict, leadership, power and politics, and organization design and organizational culture. I wish that you can apply the knowledge you learn in the semester in your practical works and enhance your work performance. |

We will have video presentations, classroom activities, role plays, and case discussions in class. Participation is crucial for the class, so I strongly encourage everyone to actively participate in the discussions. |

You need to be in a group of 4-6 individuals to complete a team project. The topic is of your own choice, but it should be related to our class. Oral presentations will be scheduled on June 10th or 17th. The written report is due on June 24th. Page length is limited to 15 pages |

(include participation, homework assignments, and attendance)
You need to submit two homework assignments for the semester. After the classroom discussions of two HBS cases, you are to write reports on what you have learned from each case discussion. The assignment will be due on the next class. Page length: maximum 2 pages each. Format: Font: Times New Roman, 12, double-spaced. Late papers will be downgraded.
Assignment #1：HBS case Brainard, Bennis & Farrel, Deadline: 8th, April
Assignment #2：HBS case Donna Dubinsky, Deadline: 27th, May
Note: You do not need to write reports on two other HBS cases (Overhead Reduction Task Force & Thurgood Marshall High School) we discussed in class. |
